Privacy Policy
Who we are
This website (anhtu.dev, the “Site”) is operated by Phung Anh Tu (“I”, “me”). For any privacy-related question you can reach me at tu.phunganh@gmail.com.
What information is collected
The Site collects the minimum data needed to operate and to understand how it is used:
- Session data. A first-party session cookie is used to remember your language preference and other non-tracking UI state. It expires after 7 days of inactivity.
- Analytics data. If you consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects aggregated usage data such as pages viewed, device type, approximate location (country/region), and referrer. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage. This data is not used to identify you personally.
- Server logs. Standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp) are generated for security and debugging. Logs are retained for a short period and then deleted or rotated.
- Content you submit. The Site does not host a comment system or contact form. If you email me, your email address and message content will be stored in my mailbox.
Why it is collected (legal basis)
- Consent — for optional analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time via the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the footer.
- Legitimate interest — for essential session cookies and security logs needed to operate the Site.
Who the data is shared with
I do not sell personal data. The Site relies on the following third parties, each of which has its own privacy practices:
- Google LLC — Google Analytics 4 (only when you consent). Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts & jsDelivr CDN — serve static assets (fonts, CSS, JS). Your browser’s IP address is visible to these CDNs when loading assets.
- Hosting provider — may see standard connection metadata needed to deliver the page.
How long data is kept
- Session cookie: up to 7 days of inactivity.
- Google Analytics data: retained by Google according to the account retention setting (default 14 months).
- Server logs: typically less than 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data held about you.
- Request correction or deletion.
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time.
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email tu.phunganh@gmail.com.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated occasionally. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on the Site when they occur.
